Introduction to your workspace

🏠 Home in KNOWYOURCHAT: your overview after logging in

The Home view is your start page in KNOWYOURCHAT. Here you see at a glance what's important right now, which tasks are coming up, and how your current workspace is performing.

In the left sidebar, you'll find the most important areas of KNOWYOURCHAT.

  • Home β†’ overview and quick entry point
  • Calendar β†’ planning and overview of scheduled posts
  • Posts β†’ create, edit, and prepare posts
  • AI Studio β†’ create posts with the AI Crew, analyses, KPIs, and learnings
  • Insights β†’ analyses, KPIs, and learnings
  • Content Hub β†’ your personal media collection
  • Inboxβ†’ handle comments and messages centrally
  • Settings β†’ workspace and account configuration

What you'll find on the Home page

Content can vary depending on your role and setup. Typical elements are:

  • Status tiles with key metrics, for example:
    • published posts
    • scheduled posts
    • connected accounts
    • pending replies
    • open reviews
  • Recently published: quick access to your latest posts
  • Upcoming posts: what goes live next
  • Best performers: see at any time which of your posts performs best

Workspaces

At the top left of the Home view, you're always working in the currently selected workspace.

Depending on your permissions, you can:

  • directly create a post (button at the top right)
  • configure the workspace via Settings

To find the right place faster, these entry pages are handy:


Assigned tasks (Posts and Inbox)

So nothing gets left behind in your team, KNOWYOURCHAT often shows you on the Home page (or in a dedicated area):

  • posts assigned to you (e.g. for approval or publishing)
  • Inbox items assigned to you

Recommendation: Use Home as a daily "check-in": first check what's assigned to you, then plan in Calendar/Posts, and finally work through the Inbox.


How to use Home really efficiently

Your daily Home workflow (5–10 minutes)

If you open KNOWYOURCHAT briefly every day, this is the simplest routine:

  1. Check assigned tasks
    • Are there posts waiting for review/approval?
    • Are there Inbox threads assigned to you?
  2. Check upcoming posts
    • What goes live today or tomorrow?
    • Is anything still missing (media, caption, approval, platform selection)?
  3. Then jump to the right area
    • Planning: Calendar
    • Creating/editing posts: Posts
    • Developing ideas with AI: AI Studio
    • Managing your community: Inbox
    • Analyzing performance: Insights

Home + AI Studio: the fastest way from "idea" to draft

Home isn't just a dashboard – it's also your springboard for producing content quickly.

Typical situation on the go:

You have an idea but no time to build a complete post.

Here's what to do:

  1. Open the AI Studio.
  2. Share your idea with the AI Crew (a short note is enough, bullet points or voice input work too).
  3. Add brief context:
    • Goal (e.g. leads, reach, recruiting)
    • Platform (e.g. LinkedIn vs. Instagram)
    • Tone of voice/form of address
  4. Have it create 2–3 variants.
  5. Save the best draft as the basis for a post.

Result: The next time you glance at your phone, the draft is often already there – you just need to review, adjust, and schedule it.


Home in a team: making responsibilities visible

Home is especially useful in a team because it helps keep ownership clear:

  • Assignments prevent duplicated work
  • Open reviews show where decisions are missing
  • Pending replies show where community management is blocked

Best practice for teams:

One person starts the day with "Home β†’ assignments β†’ Inbox", another with "Home β†’ reviews β†’ Posts/Calendar". That way, you overlap less.


If something looks "odd" (typical questions)

  • "Why are numbers or best performers missing?" Often, accounts are not (or no longer) connected, or data is delayed. Check: Settings β†’ Workspace β†’ Social Media Accounts and then the time range in Insights.
  • "Why don't I see any assignments?" This can be due to your role/permissions, or simply because nothing is currently assigned in the workspace.
  • "Why are the times wrong?" Check the time zone in your account profile (Settings β†’ Account β†’ Profile).

Quick summary

Home is your daily control center:

  • What's open? (assignments/reviews/Inbox)
  • What's coming next? (upcoming posts)
  • What's working right now? (best performers)
  • What do I do next? (jump to Calendar/Posts/AI Studio/Inbox/Insights)
