How do I create posts for Facebook?

Here you'll learn how to create, schedule, and publish Facebook posts in KNOWYOURCHAT – either manually (Calendar/Posts) or with the new AI Studio (AI Crew).

Option 1: Create manually (Calendar or Posts)

A) Create a post in the Calendar

You can create posts directly in the Calendar.

Month view: hover over a day → plus (+)
Week view: hover over a day → Create post

The post editor then opens.

B) Create a post in "Posts"

Alternatively, go to the Posts section and click Create post in the top right.

In the post editor (for both options)

Give your post a title.
Select Facebook as the platform.
Choose the post type (e.g. Reel, photo, or Story – depending on the available options).
Upload media.
Write the caption (yourself or with AI support).
(Optional) Add labels.
(Optional, depending on your role) Request approvals.
Schedule date & time or save as a draft.

Option 2: With the AI Studio (AI Crew)

In the AI Studio, you share your idea directly with the AI Crew and have it turn into a post draft in seconds.

You typically get:

caption suggestions that match your goals
phrasing that fits your brand voice
variations (e.g. different hooks/CTAs)

Then you transfer the draft into a post and schedule it or submit it for approval (depending on your role).

Preview

You see a preview of how the post will look on Facebook.

ℹ️ Important: Some Facebook features are unavailable due to API limitations (e.g. deleting or editing published posts in KNOWYOURCHAT, certain post types, and metadata such as events or multilingual posts).
