Before you get started, make sure the following is in place:

  1. Open Posts.
  2. Click Create post by tapping "Create post" in the week view or the plus in the month view.
  3. Give your post a title.
  4. Select the platforms or accounts you want to publish on.
  5. Add media (image/video) and write a core text.
  6. Use the option to create separate variants per platform.
    • You can adjust the texts manually.
    • Or have platform-specific texts generated for you.
  7. Check the preview and details per platform (format, length, hashtags). If you use labels for series/campaigns, set them at this point at the latest → Labels for posts.
  8. Decide whether to publish immediately or schedule.
  9. Save and publish.

Platform-specific texts: what are your options?

If you select multiple platforms, you don't have to use the identical text everywhere. In practice, it's often better to make small adjustments per platform.

Typical adjustments are:

  • Tone and length (short for Shorts, more detailed for LinkedIn)
  • Hashtags (platform-dependent)
  • Call-to-action (e.g. "Comment" vs. "Save")

Common pitfalls

  • One text is copied 1:1 to all platforms even though format and expectations differ.
  • The media format doesn't fit (e.g. wrong aspect ratio).
  • Scheduling is missing even though the post is finished.
