Connecting social media accounts

For KNOWYOURCHAT to publish posts and analyze insights, you first connect your social media accounts. In onboarding, this is the first step right after signing up.

During onboarding: connect accounts (first step)

Right after signing up, you'll see several cards with the available platforms.

Here's how:

1. Click the platforms you want to connect, one after the other.
2. A window for that platform opens.
3. Verify yourself there (login/confirmation).
   You'll usually need the login credentials for your accounts.
4. Once successfully linked, the account appears as connected.

🔒 Privacy: Login credentials are handled in a privacy-compliant way. KNOWYOURCHAT never stores passwords in plain text.

Available platforms

You can connect accounts for the following platforms:

• Instagram
• TikTok
• YouTube
• Facebook
• LinkedIn
• Google Business

ℹ️ Note: Depending on your pricing plan, the number of accounts and/or available connections may differ.

After onboarding: add more accounts (Settings)

Depending on your role, you can also add more accounts or manage existing connections at any time later on.

Path:

• Settings → Workspace → Social Media Accounts

There you can see:

• which platforms are available
• which accounts are already connected
• and you can change/refresh connections (e.g. reconnect)
