Here you'll find a quick orientation on what to look out for with images and videos before uploading them to KNOWYOURCHAT.
What can you upload to KNOWYOURCHAT?
As a rule, you can use the following content:
- Images (e.g. for feed posts, carousels)
- Videos (e.g. Reels, Shorts, video posts)
- Multiple media items in one post (e.g. a carousel of images or videos)
Note: Exactly which options you see depends on the selected platform and post type.
Typical upload situations (briefly explained)
- One image
- Ideal for quick announcements, graphics, or photos.
- Multiple images (carousel)
- Good for step-by-step content or before/after.
- One video
- Ideal when you need motion, sound, or storytelling.
- Vertical video
- Often the best choice for mobile-first formats (e.g. Reels/Shorts).
Checklist before uploading
- Does the format fit?
- Vertical: 9:16
- Square: 1:1
- Horizontal: 16:9
- Is the quality good enough?
- Videos ideally at least in HD.
- Images ideally at least 1080 px wide.
- Is the file not too large?
- If an upload fails, the file size is often the reason.
- Is the audio okay (for video)?
- No strong background noise.
- If possible: use subtitles.
