How Home Works

The dashboard deliberately shows you only a compact overview. Some tiles show clear states. Other tiles are calculated from platform data. This page helps you interpret what you see correctly.

The basic idea is what matters: the Home area is meant to give you quick signals. When you need details, you then go to Calendar, Posts, or Insights.

KPIs: What are they for?

KPIs in the Home area are a quick health check.

  • They show trends, not the whole truth.
  • They help you decide whether you should currently plan, approve, create, or analyze.
  • They don't replace detailed analysis in Insights.

Which KPIs are "state" and which are "data"?

A simple rule of thumb:

  • State tiles depend primarily on your workflow.
    • Example: My reviews.
    • If something shows up here, something is genuinely waiting for you.
  • Data tiles depend on platform data and sync.
    • Example: "Published posts", performance signals, or best performer.
    • These tiles may update with a delay.

Best performer: What does it mean?

The best performer is the post that stands out the most in the selected time period, based on the available platform data.

This means:

  • It's not a "seal of quality", but a learning signal.
  • Depending on the platform, a post can be "better" because it has more reach, more likes, or more comments.
  • If platform data is limited, the selection may be more simplified.

So always use the best performer like this:

  • What was the hook?
  • Which format (Reel, carousel, Short)?
  • Which message?
  • Which CTA?

Why can numbers differ or "lag behind"?

This is usually not a bug, but due to typical factors:

  • Platform data doesn't always arrive in real time.
  • Some platforms provide fewer details via their APIs.
  • Accounts may be disconnected or tokens may need to be renewed.

If something looks off to you, the best next step is:

  • Check your accounts.
  • Then open the post in Community Insights.

✅ Quick start: How to use the Home logic correctly

  • Reviews are "hard" and should be worked through first.
  • Upcoming posts shows you whether planning is missing.
  • Best performer is your shortcut to the next idea.

Remember: Workflow tiles are reliably instant. Data tiles can be delayed.

Depending on what catches your eye in the dashboard, these pages will help you right away:

  • You want to translate the signals directly into concrete planning: Calendar
  • You want to derive a new version from the best performer: Posts
  • You want to understand why something performs well or badly: Insights
  • Numbers don't match or update late (sync, limits, data availability): Supported platforms
  • Check accounts, reconnect, or check permissions: Adding social media channels
  • If the team, roles, or workspace setup is the problem: Settings
