Troubleshooting the KNOWYOURCHAT Calendar
If something in the Calendar doesn't look as expected, it's usually down to roles or channel connections. Here are the most common cases.
In everyday use, calendar issues often seem bigger than they are. In most cases, nothing is "broken" — the Calendar simply shows only what matches your current roles and connections. Work through the checks below in order. You'll usually find the cause in under two minutes.

A post is missing from the Calendar
Check:
- filters (channel, status, time range)
- whether you're in the right workspace
- whether the post actually has a date/time set

The time or date looks "wrong"
Check:
- your time zone in Settings (see also: Edit profile information)
- whether daylight saving time / standard time is involved
A post can't be scheduled
Check:
- status (has the post been approved?) → see Understanding statuses & approvals in the Calendar
- roles and permissions (are you allowed to schedule/publish?) → see Invite your team & assign roles
- channel connection (is the account connected?) → see Add social media channels
Missing permissions
If buttons are missing or fields are locked, permissions are usually the cause.
- Check your role (see Invite your team & assign roles)
- Contact your workspace manager
If you're currently working through content in a task list and things are locked there, the Posts logic (status, review, responsibilities) often helps too.
Check the channel connection
If a channel seems faulty:
- Reconnect it
- Check your admin permissions on the platform
